Absolutely beautiful fish. Extremely good photography as well. In fact, they look like professional photos. They don't look like the sort of photos someone has taken their house
How big is the tank, looks extremely large.

Again...agree agree agree. These are absolutely beautiful,
better than most books I have come accross. Also amazing fish.
Very photogenic. How big is the tank? We all want to know.
Your oscars look quite large with lots of room to spare.

Its hard to fly like an eagle when you are surrounded by turkeys

If this guy really did take these photos, I would suggest suggest he goes and gets a job as a professional photographer. These are the sort of photos you see in magazines and books.

This is what I was thinking. Great looking Os, Tank, and pictures. An all-around 5stars

Come on Rafal, give us some more information

It is really your tank? I'm interested in the photography as well, this certainly isn't everyday photography. Those pictures have been taken using a top of the range camera, and by somebody who knows what they're doing.

(sorry for my poor and primitive english, please correct me)

Very, very nice comments

They are my photos and my tank

I'm not a proffesional photographer - but I like fish and photography. My camera is Konica Minolta A200 - it's not SLR, but old, powerfull compact only.

Oscars - they are subadult fisches, about 8-9 months old. In my aquarium - 7 months. The biggest have about 25-27 cm long.

Some words about tank: 1000 liters, 260x65x60 centimeters. Filtration: sump with sponges and ceramics. Pump: AquaMedic OR2500, heater Tetra 300W. Temperature in tank: minimum 21 degrees of Celsius (now about 25 - summer ), pH about 8, GH about 28, KH about 18, NH3-0, NO2-0, NO3 - 10 to 30.

Other shots of my fish (some oldies):

I have to say that I was a little dubious about your photos. After all, they are probably the best quality photos I've ever seen, including any books or magazines. You should submit some of your photos to the magazines, I'm sure they would get published and you would probably get some money for them. With your permission, I will put them in the gallery. I would also like to use one of the photos to emphasise the sensory pits on the fishes head.

Well done on the photography and the quite stunning tank. My new tank is along the same size of yours, a little bigger. I'm hoping to get it set up quite soon.
