I picked up this Long Finned oscar from the LFS just a couple of hours ago. I gave her to my 4 year old daughter Caidence and she named her Gabriella.. I made a tank divider out of 1/8 in lexan and drilled holes through it for water to pass through..

thanks guys... I am setting up a 45 gal. tank for her to get bigger in tomorrow so she will only have to be in the tank divider for about two weeks while it cycles...Unless you guys think that they will do fine together being seperated with the divider? Let me know

i believe gabriella deserve her own tank. long fin
usually move slow and have the risk of torn fins when
keep with the regular specie. just my 2 cents opinion.

Thanks Paul. I am going to set up another tank today to start cycling. I only have long finned oscars though. My larger one Spike is a long finned as well.

awesome looking long fin warlock. i agree with the seperate tank until the newcommer gets a little more size on her.(at least until shes about 4 inches or so)

i got Freze ( its dialect for strawberry here ) and i'm thinking of 'Bob' but thats so-so

thanks man but the long fin makes up for it... they are hard to find somewhat rare

i'm not such a fan of breeding variants. i just had to take tigers cuz reds cant be found here
