okay i was sittin here watchin a movie and had my lights dimmed and i look over and my oscar is tryin to kill his reflection, i watched him doin it a good 10 minutes or so and thought it would be cool to catch some of it on camera and share it with you guys. it really seems to amuse me for some reason. he only does it if the lights in his tank are on and the ilghts in my room are off, i presume that sets him up for a real good reflection of himself in the tank.

Hey Win,
Thats excellent photography, I was trying to film mine doing the same thing, no point now, you got the exact same action, and my fish looks almost the same as yours!
I wonder if its something to do with that colour strain being more full of em'self.
My lutino red does it, particularly when it picks the gravel of the floor and has a go at his reflection but not so hard core!
well done!
Does he usually have pitch black fins and tail, and they just go light grey when he has a fit of rage?, mine does!
thats him when hes peaceful. your absolutely correct, altho i would say its more green than gray.
Colour aside, I just meant does he do real quick changes of the fin and tail colour when the temper changes? mine goes from black to light to black again in under a minute if the mood takes him, bloody amazing isn't it.
