I've been coming to this site for awhile now and cant remember anyone with a Black Ghost Knife fish so i thought i would share this video with you guys.....after my O this guy is my Fav! I had him about 15 months and he is atleats 10inches. He does hide about 50% of the time but u can always see his head poking out from behind the driftwood.

I would recommend the fish to anyone they just look sooooo cool the way they swim around in every direction, never had any probs from my O. A great addition to any Oscar tank, just make sure your BGK isn't to small or your O might eat him and give him a nice place to hide and he will be happy!

i had raised spotted knife fish once and gave him to my brother in law...
it reaches 20 inches long in 3 years..... he cook it when we have
that power outage in sept 2006....

ive seen these before. they are amazing looking fish! i had asked if they would be compatable with an oscar and every person i asked gave me a resounding NO! when i get this new tank setup i may have to pickup one, ive always liked them.

yep they are baby silver dollars, when i got the home i was a bit worried they were to small and my O would eat them but they are fine....only got them on Sat.

I know this is kind of an old thread but I have to say that is a nice fish ! my husband has been wanting one but dont have a setup yet. EXCEPT I see you have it in your O tank--so that could work !! Hmmmm-I might have to surprise my hunny !! Thanks for sharing !! He's gorgeous !!
