He is the smallest fish in the tank but has the biggest attitude, only fish he won't chase is the big oscar all others are on his list.. My pacu is being civil right now hope it remains that way, then he can stay..

Still tossing up a jack or firemouth either way i'll have to wait till next yr when i get back from an over seas trip.

Or i could just not add any more fish and know that everyone will live happily ever after.

yeah im pretty sure ill be getting a pair of JD's when i get my big tank up and running.

im already planning on a superior filtration system rated atleast 2.5 times cappacity of the tank.

Nice set up. Hopefully that Pacu doesnt grow to quickly. Fully grown one may need a tank the same size as a transit van

no kidding... my friend james saw my oscar and decided his 29 gallon tank of gouramis wasnt enough so he bought a 55, and asked me what to get... i said whatever you do, if you get an oscar, just get one, and dont buy one of those damned pacu at walmart, they will get huge in a hurry, and of course... he bought 1 oscar and two pacu... idiot... grrr lol...

now he has TWO oscars and 2 pacu in a 55... the oscars one is about 7" the pacu are 6" and the other oscar is about 5"... its so over stocked hes now looking to get a 90 gallon tank.

i had also given him a pair of convicts to breed for feeders... and now hes got like 11 of the bastards...

i told him id take the oscars when i get my 212 up and running and let them stay in that for a bit till he gets a bigger tank... but hes on his own with those damn pacu, i dont want anything to do with them.

2000 Gl will be enough, but that's quite an upgrade.
When i do that, I can get an RTC as well!
