Hi, I just got a few more pics of my Oscar. Still don't know what type it is some people have suggested Lutino Red. Any other suggestions out there??

Looks unlike any juvenile I've seen!
Cool fish, I wonder what it's gonna look like in the future!

red lutino

you will probably see an increase in the gray/black from his fins going lower on his body as he ages, making him, for lack of a better term, look dirty.
Warning..I will offend you at some point!!!

my goal is simple a complete understanding of the universe, why it is as it is and why it exists at all

definitely, it is a lutino type but no one could ever tell yet if it is
a red lutino or a lutino with different markings.... ihave this lutino before
which i thought is an especial lutino with silver markings ... only to find
out later the real kind of it.... see this thread..

That's disappointing. I bought a pair recently hoping the black color from edges of their fins will disappear with their age.

I have one similar with yours and about to ask the same question. He was labelled as Albino Red Oscar when I bought him but I doubt.

I think Heros fish does not show the difference in colour of the head compared to the body.
Looks exactly the same colour, judging from the pics.
