Very cool markings on your tiger, a lot of dark!
Beauty!
I like it very much!
If you copy/paste the IMG code(Bottom line in Photobucket) into the post, the pic will show in the post without a link.

Do you mean the ornate? Polypterus ornatipinnis? I have had him for 2 years now and bichirs are one of my favourite fish!

I have a group of channa micropeltes - giant sh. Had 6 initially but lost two to tapeworm because they were all wild caught and didn't do very well with the medication I put in. But all 4 micros are doing well and are now at 10", growing very quickly!

Took a pic when the micro died. It was so big, I was very sorry to see all that hard work go, but what can you do, you lose some you gain some:

Thanks actually I fed them hikari cichlid gold from the first day I got them just to try and see if it will make a difference because I've seen how a few o's have faded out colouring as they age.

No its a juvenile micro, this one died after about 4 months of me keeping it, couldn't fight the tapeworm off. It changed colour because I took it out of the tank then hours after I snapped pics. At the start when I just got it, it was red in colour then it changed to army colours - like brown with bits of green in it! Wish I could have taken a clearer pic but I only use my phone to take pics.

I'm gutted for you, those Channa looked wicked. I have 2 Bleheri in with a 6" Oscar and a small dempsey.
I love Channa, my second favourite species of fish.

Yeah, I was really miserable when I lost two of them! But the group I have left are doing well, so there is hope yet! I can't wait for them to change colour completely! Have been doing some research and the next colour change is gonna be yellow It's going to be amazing! Can't wait!
