Ive had Oscar for about 7 months now and just got Bernie ( Parrot Cichlid) about 3 weeks ago. They seem to get along very well.

These two fish often do often make good tank mates, I know of a few people who keep them together. From my personal point of view, I'm not really that keen on hybrid

The thing to watch with keeping parrots with oscars is to make sure the parrots get enough food. Parrots have small mouths and oscars have large mouths so make sure you put some small food in for the parrots to eat
