Some of you may remember my initial DIY

Started off with a basic pine stand and tank, installed wier, sump 3d background, then built the cabinet and hood.
Here are some pictures of the completed project:
Water change system - a can run a hose to the pipe which is attached and simply turn it on. Fills the container which is 250 litres. When full float valve shuts it off. Small pump and 2 heaters in the bottom to heat the water evenly. 250 litre PER MINUTE pump also in bottom with a float value. Simply syphon water out front door (250 litres) stick big hose in and turn it on. Instant 250 litre water change within 10 minutes.
FX5 and Eheinm canister (the FX5 is only for extra particle filtration, Eheim is to ensure water flow behind the 3d background as the outlet is behind there)
Sump inc spinner and refugium. In the cabinet there are 2 3' lights mounted - run 24/7 for the plants.
