I've been trying to ID this fish I videotaped

i went to egypt last year and seen hundreds of those sargeant majors plus loads of other fish!

im going back there in april!

just wanted to know thats all shaner

The pictures were taken with a powershot A40 in Negril, Jamaica.

I'm thinking they might be swordfish, they are the only ones that fit that profile. The fish has a real long sharp point on the end.

It was kinda scary I swam right through a whole school of them.

ive just come back from cuba i was gutted because i didnt see any fish at all in the see!! when we went to egypt last year we went snorkelling most of the day and seen 1000's of fish!the most scary was the lionfish i was snorkelling one day and turned round and found 6 of them within about 4 foot of me! ive never got of the water so fast!!!

Sometimes you see a lot sometimes you don't.

The Barracuda pictured above swam about 4 inches from my face. I had to swim back to snap the picture.

Here is another pretty neat video this one of an "agitated" puffer fish. You have to look very close because it was at night.

Sorry about the quality, its pretty hard to swim with a camera in one hand and a light in the other.

i know what you mean the waves send you all over the place!!
ive got a pretty good camera with a water proof case so when we go back should got some good pictures!!
