Hey all...I've been trying to make a decent video of my guys but I can't seem to get my cam to focus...so I thought I might just do a photo montage.

Anyways...these guys were barely 2 1/2 inches when I got them in a 20 gallon tank. Now they're both over 6 inches and doing well in a 55 galloon...and I have a 120 gallon waiting for them...so here they are...




I wish my plec woulda come out...he's really nice lookin...I have some driftwood in the middle there for him to munch on...

i wonder if he'll stay red or become more copper or bronze in appearance, like mine does.Time will tell...

Now what up with the camera, how come it's not focussing?

This is the problem with texans:

Any fish that takes on a Jag that is bigger has got anger management issues!!!

If you are interested I wrote an article on how I keep texans, oscars, Jags and black belts in the same tank with little violence. It takes careful planning of the social dynamic of your tank. It works but is not a method for amateurs:

i don't have the room to keep multiple texan's though. i was thinking just one in a tank with maybe a small catfish or something.
love the way they look, and i would really love to have one. (i'm from texas, btw)

I just cant seem to get rid of that blur or focus problem with my digital cam...it picks up the glass and loses focus alot... I think I need to turn off all other lighting,,,maybe that will help :angry: The red has a special place in my heart because she (somehow I know she's a she) survived my dirty, untreated, unfiltered 20 gallon.
