I can already pet mine a bit...but not like THIS...

ha ha ha...two months is too short : to have that size of O;
and to tame a fish like that. oscar change their character
as they grow up... but try to come near the tank when they
are hungry and you can train them gradually.

btw. do you know who is the owner of that huge o? it looks like

I can pet my O but he will turn on me and bite.
He usually does not bite me, but when i pet him, it may take a minute or 2 but he will come back to bite me.
Like he's saying ;"That may work on youtube, but don't try that s#it on me!"lol
My Gar likes some physical attention, though.
Sometimes it seems like he doesn't even feel that i pet him.

i can pet my longfin oscar pearl like that and she dont mind

I wonder if I will be able to pet my Snakehead once he arrives from New Orleans. Doubtful. The Alligator Gar i just recently got is a definite biter....and he's getting a bit big already for his tank.

You sure it an alligator gar fo you may need the biggst upgaed possible.

Yes, they feed verociously and will grew to incredible sizeis.
I think your gonna need a large pond for him, for he will keep growing and eating your tankmates.
