I'm not an expert on the fish but I've always thought I may have a couple of females. They haven't laid eggs in a while, they used the quite a lot but they never hatched. Having said this, their sexual organs do slightly different, but I'm not convinced they are male and female. The eggs are difficult to see at the best of times, so getting a successful photograph of them was virtually impossible

I wouldn't hold your breath, they have done this several times before and nothing ever happens. I'll be very surprised if something does now.
