My Oscar was really acting like the boss of the tank today.
He attacked the bottle and hose several times during maintenance.
Came begging for food, while the tank wasn't even filled back up.
He grabbed all the pellets that went in,before any SD could grab some until the pellets came flying out of his gills.Is this the same fish that refused those pellets for over a year?
Then he played his favorite game: Chase the Dollars.
Then he started to rearrange the plants.
I was just in time to shoot a short vid.

Those hanging plants often float. I weigh my down with a little lead weight on each arm. The fish lift them up and then let go and they sink back down

The plants are fake ones i bought at a garden centre.
Very big and busy, and not half the price of what they ask at the LFS.
Just check if the plastics aren't painted, and the should be fine in your tank
The ones in front have silky leaves attached to plastic branches.
The ones my O was tearing at are plastic Ivy plants.
The first are only attached with the upper part.
The Ivy is used to cover up all the airtubes that run through the right corner.
Only one brach floates free, and that's the one my O get's mad about!
