Hey, guys.
Since there was so much going on in my personal life i didn't even make time to update you on my Oscars.
Things cleared up in our lives and we're out of the storm.
Thanx for the prayer and positive thought we got as a response from the forum.
Now heres some new footage of my new tiger fighting over territory.
The cichlid way , that is for no harm is done yet and there have been no liplocking anymore.

You give them 180Gl and still they run into eachother!

Great video, do you mind if I include it on one of the pages on the website?

They look like they are fine to me Noddy! She looks like she is making herself right at home.
It's NOT smart to piss off the girl with the BAN button!

Feel free to use the vid as you please.

@ Biostratus: Gar and Oscar are supossedly bad tankmates but if your tank is big enough, it can work out fine.
Its a Florida gar and all my fish respect him very much, like they know how many teeth he has!
Nobody ever bothers him and he's even at close contact with Hope and Bolle, and they really couldn't care less.
However i handfeed my Gar and it can be a pain for he's an ambush predator and sometimes takes a quarter of an hour for him to finaly take the food.
While the oscars are full within a minute or two.
Hope is a fr#@kin beggar. Bolle will beg if he's hungry, but Hope is hungry all day long, and she does eat anything very quickly, even ate prawn out of my hand. .

You can still see he came out of a small lfs tank with too many fish for he is totally desparate to get anything thats edible.

for a Florida the width of the tank is most important.
They can grow upto 2 feet though usually they stay a bit smaller.
Since they got very hard scales they cannot turn easily.
So a 2 feet width would do and 6feet long will do for a year or three or prob for life.
Gar would be my main reason for my next upgrade, for they are very personable.
And handfeeding is a thrill, day after day. he actually willl draw blood when he grabs my fingers!
Thrillseeking on fishlevel!
