Noddy [Quote 2 weeks, 3 days ago]:Thanx.
I'm actually not sure if I'm going to restock.(After my dwarfpuffer died)
I'd love a green spotted puffer, but the idea of one tank less to care for sounds tempting.

So it took me a lil'over 2 weeks to reconcider.
Today i decided to drain the 18Gl tank and put the 40Gl in it's place.
Did some 10 minutes decorating with all the stuff i still had.
Took a cycled filter from another tank.
So this is the "done in one day tank"

Drove for some hours to find these fish...

This tank is spotless for my dwarfpuffys tank was scratched badly.
This is so much better!
You like the fish?

And my neighbour gave me a Eheim canister he didn´t use anymore.
I just have to get new hoses, and I´ll get that one to seed on my other tank, and will place the Eheim on the puffertank after that.
I had a very good day!

puffers can easily adapt to both condition, fresh and salt, thus, you can not
differentiate.

kool, so they can adapt to both salt and fresh? kool can they just jump from salt to fresh or do you need to do it gradualy? also is that a pic of they puffed up or do they never puff up unless intimidated? i want sum, have seen sum saltwater ones at the local but didnt know they were the same as fresh water paul.

I guess you were right nicki.
But the idea of taking a Time out on that tank gave me some rest.
And yesterday i got that Itch again.

@ skatkea: all puffers can blow themselves up.
These are in freshwater now, but it's gonna be brackish!
I read their colours will brighten, they will get fatter and their lifespan will increase if they go in brackish water.

I know what you mean, and i"m very glad i can spent my weekends at home in peace at the moment.
While everybody else is working 24/7 at our company.
But the tank was setup in no time.
And i woke up very early to check on them this morning and they're doing fine!

Glad everything is good with them! They are so cool looking! Sounds like we are going to be running 6 or 7 days a week until about september this year  so it'll be awhile until I get another tank setup...would love something like what you got there though! Some day!
