This is Red and Bubba (Tiger)... Bubba replaced Piglet who jumped to his death a few weeks back:


Just Bubba - named that after the actor in Forrest Gump - Bubba the shrimp boat captain - remember the big lip he had? Well this Bubba seems to have a huge looking lip that he hasn't grown into yet.


My two Jack Dempsey's - LJ (Little Jack) and BJ (Big Jack).. original huh?


Before you all start...... EVERYONE gets along wonderfully in the tank. They are "trained" at feeding time and they share very well. They all swim around together and there has been very minimal fighting. It is one happy tank! Nicki, Penn and Noddy (email me back) I can't thank you all enough for your help in making this tank what it is today.

Hey Noddy... you never answered my email... I could cry ya know!

The first night Big Jack was all over everyone in the tank. Red snapped at him as did the Pleco and bing-bang-boom... everyone is happy. I think there was a test to see who was going to be master of the tank. Everyone let Big Jack know it wasn't going to be him!! The pics don't do them justice though. I have a hard time getting good pics. Working on a video though - might show better light.

Nice looking fish. Everyone looks to be in harmony. Ofcourse I love the JD's; they look very good. As time goes on you will find those JD's will have more pronounced color; and when they change their mood to a little more on the aggressive side (i don't think they will get aggessive enough to attack you oscars at all) their colors change.

Do you think you have a breeding pair? The tank setup looks good too.
