Very nice footage, tank and fish.
I'm sending you my adress so you can ship the Tiger to me.
And your camera.
Oh, and don't forget to put the pleco in as well, when you send the other stuff over.

but seriously, that pleco is amazing. I do not think this is "Yo-avarage-pleco-species".
Very cool specimen.Does he allways display the camouflage colour pattern?
Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!

Thanks Noddy, consider it all shipped.

Thats a good question on the camo look. It seems that I have noticed it more since he has been in the big tank. The funny thing is, it's seems like, coincidentally, the Pleco is always just chillin on the bottom when I happen to take a video. Usually he is all over the tank, sucking on anything and everything; he really likes the wood. He obviously didn't get this big by being a lazy Pleco.

I had him with the JD for the past year or so, and the JD seemed to want the Pleco to be hidden under a log or rock somewhere. Now that he is with the Oscars, they seem to let the Pleco do whatever he wants. I think he really enjoys the sand substrate also, I have noticed a change in his mood since I got sand.

Thanks Nicki . I think the markings on my baby Tiger Oscar are very nice too. I am wondering how it will look when it gets mature. But that's part of the excitement right.

The cool thing is the little tiger O is very courageous. It isn't scared of the bigger O at all. it will get close and almost brush up against it. But it knows not to get too close to his mouth because the bigger Red O will give a weak attempt to try to bite it sometimes. but the little tiger O just moves out of the way and all is good.

Yeah its all good here mate. Had to give the base a bit of re-desiging. Took away the poly tiles and got a couple of layers of rubber undercarpet.
The base is a solid 2x3/4" glued and screwed together plywood. I think there must have been a bit of warping there to cause the tank to crack like that. Its the only thing I can think of mate.
So I have taken a jig saw and cut almost 1' squares out of the block, just leaving struts, to give it a bit more ply when the tank is settled on it.
Here's hoping ..
