and that damn cute oscar will be huge in no time...if you will not
control the feedings.... it can grow as much as 35% of the fresh
frozen food it can take....that is how they grow for an average of
1 inch per month....

cool footage and very sharp quality indeed.
But it takes my computer indeed a long time to get that vid running!
are all your plants real or fake?
Looking good!

Excellent one that is and if the background is filmed without showing the border between the sand and the background, it looks incredibly real.
You had me going there!

I hope you're not too attached to your Kuhli's, for they may be mistaken for food in the future...

And indeed i have the slowest possible internet connection available...

Yeah I think they will become a meal to be honest but I have no other tank for them and they will make a great meal after all ..another issue I have my dad has given me a silver spotty pictus catfish thing and I know about the hassle they can cause with Oscars......the back ground is just a standard one from a pet shop but one thing I noticed is its not sat flush with the glass and it looks better like this lol!!!

Staf.. you said you usually thaw out your blood worms? Do you do that due to the size of the O? Or is that what I should be doing? My O is 9" - I usually cut the frozen cubes in 1/2. Is that bad??

If you do not thaw the blocks first, your Oscar may suffer from brain-freeze,

Only kidding you,B.
I have been thawing any food before feeding it to my fish, but i cannot explain why.

Lately i have been giving my puffers not-completely- defrosted-bloodworms and it's easy feeding them like that.
With my oscar i allways defrosted the worms in a baby food spoon, and my O will eat several of those blocks in a row.

umm it depends to be honest alot of people say its not good for the fish to feed them frozen...but I dont see how as they defrost pretty much instantly in the water as you can see from the vid and im sure your own experience

Id go with what you feel comfortable with iv looked around on the net and it seems to be 50-50 on if you should or shouldn't...but when my Oscar is over 5 inches I will just feed him whole frozen blocks of bloodworm to be honest ...
