Yet another British troop has been blown up in Afghanistan today. I know this is a contentious issue and many people think that we should stay there. However, I just wish our politicians would see sense and realize that this is a no-win situation for us. They will still be there in 10 years doing exactly the same as they are now & yet many more families will be grieving for their loved ones.

Unfortunately Penn it is. Whether it's oil, or some other resource, we're only there for money. My brother is serving his second tour right now in Iraq, next he'll go to Afghanistan. He's said there is absolutely no reason for them to be there. He said all they do is follow the IAs around and make sure they know what they're doing. He says it's glorified babysitting now.

Right after Bush and his cronies started screaming "Weapons of Mass Destruction" and "terrorism" in every single speech made, I knew it was nothing but propaganda to get us to support a war on a country that had NOTHING to do with us at the time. Then we somehow roped your country into following us into this total cluster f*ck, and there is absolutely NO exit strategy in place. Politicians are a bunch of lying pieces of shite in my opinion. I say we send them over there and lets see what all their hot air solves. F*ckers.

I really want to scream my lungs out regarding our troops in Afghanistan. However, they're stuck there and I suppose we really have got to support them, it's not their fault, they are just following orders. I just cannot understand why it day after day our guys are sent out on foot patrols, or in flimsy vehicles that have absolutely no chance of surviving one of these IEDs.

There was something on the television a week ago and they were at one of the hospitals that are lots of the troops go to when they are injured. You should see them, it is absolutely heartbreaking, guys with legs and arms missing, many of them have terrible facial injuries that will need operations for years to come.

At least David Cameron is not going to send any more troops, but he needs to go one step further and bring them all home.

How can you possibly fight an enemy who probably haven't even heard of the Geneva Convention. These are people who would have absolutely no qualms about chopping your head off with a big knife. It's enough to give you nightmares
