hey guys, i would like to know something about OFL, like its history, when it was born, how and why it was born etc. just curious, is their any section here regarding OFL History?

Oscar fish lover has been running for just over one year now. Like most people, I bought my fish and then started doing a lot more research on the Internet. There are quite a few Oscar forums around which I think I am a member of most of them, although I don't frequent them much any more. I use some of these forum to quite a few years and used to have quite fun. I had a personal website running and I had one-page that was all about my Oscars. That particular page seem to get a lot of hits so I thought one day, why not just put a complete dedicated Oscar site together? I also wanted a forum where there was no arguing, nastiness or people falling out all the time, thankfully, it has lived up to my expectations. That's it really, one year and we are top of Google and doing really well

this is the only oscar site of which i am a member. yeah this site looks more matured than 1 year! great job and really helpful especially for newbies like me!

The best thing about this site and the reason i started posting is that nobody rows and everyone seems to accept others opinions. Sometimes there is no right answer and its a matter of opinion. OFL is the best oscar site!

You hit the nail on the head, I like using a forum where there is absolutely no nastiness or arguments. People don't get jumped on as soon as they mention keeping an Oscar in a 20 gallon tank. We will politely advise them about the situation and leave it at that, no names mentioned, but I frequented forums where somebody posting for the first time is given a really hard time. In one year, I have only had to ban one person, and that was a spammer.

I think we have got a good crowd on here, new members every day which says a lot about our little community

wow hard to believe you've only been around for a year. in that time you managed to get quite a broad information base and many very informative members. i think your site is great and keep up the excelent work

Best oscar site I've ever been on... I like how on here there isn't much if any nastiness. I've haven't seen one occasioin where someone has jumped on someone else.

I joined his site as soon as I found it. This site just seemed a bit different than the others. A lot more mellow wich is what I am all about.
