yup guys... hes still scared of me. i did nothing to harass him or anything... ohh and he still hasnt eaten, instead of frustration im really feeling bad now.. the little guy doesnt have to starve himself and hide for no reson!!!

nope!! it wont, he just acted like a real oscar! im watching tv in my room so i guess he was getting used to me so i put some food and he completely obliterated it, and even when i held my hand over to put food in he was staring at it waiting and got it immediately haha finally!!

hahaha, im glad my little oscar is back to food fanatical lunatic, or in other words, normal oh and his fins are healing too, hes getting better by the day!!

Cool.

Now that's done the 'real work' begins, so to speak. More specifically, what type of ornamental 'action' bubbler(s) have you decided on or are currently considering at this point? There are quite few options, so I would take some time with it.

well i dont have any actiony ornamental ones but i did think about bubblers when i set up the tank. my filter ha a little hole on top of the spicket that sucks in air and mixes with the water to make a buble jet thing. so u just put a little hose that came with the filter into the hole and keep the hose out of the water, put the filter underwater and bubbles shoot out with the water which makes a little current that my oscar LOVES to swim against and through and stuff, theres also a power meter which controls the power of the water coming out. so as water shoots out so do bubbles and they slowly float to the surface. so there you have it.. my bubble system and dont worry, a lot of bubbles come out so the water is definitely oxygenated enough.
