Why would anyone want to go to the extent of deforming their body like this? I know it's obviously a shock factor, but it's just plain stupid.

Yeah looks like a shop job to me, the shadow of the zipper doesn't match the lighting of the face, Penn if you send me a picture of your face I will do one for you if you like There's probably a total of 3 or 4 seperate images to make that shot.
