I have had a link to an Aquarank ever since I created my first page back in 2003. That page was part of an overall personal website. Then I created this website and it is also one Aquarank. Now, for the life of me I just can't work out Aquarank. Now take the very old webpage which hasn't got any information on it any more, in fact when people go to it, they just get redirected here. Sometimes that gets ranked higher than this website. I don't get anywhere near as much hits on that one as I do this one. Aquarank is all over the place sometimes, I just don't know how it works. This website is sometimes ranked on the second page, today it is way down. I have checked other websites that have no traffic going to them and they are on the second page, or even sometimes the first page.

I'm very puzzled about it

Some things just aren't worth worrying (or wondering) about.
While I myself have built a website for myself, I never understood (or tried to for that matter) how the rankings work or how search engines prioritize the links....

My website is gone, I used to have a home based business selling collectible limited edition toy fire truck models for a brief few years. Just doing the required accounting was too much work for me.

Need to give away one healthy 1 year old Oscar if you know of anyone interested. See the adoption thread for photos. Thanks!

Every now and then, we will have someone visit us from Aquarank, but it's not very often. But at the end of the day, an external link is an external link and that's how you increase your traffic so the more links we get the better it will be, wherever they may be.

Every now and then, I type in our domain name into Google and have a look where we have links. I noticed the other day that there was a link on a certain ciclid forum (not the obvious by the way) but it is quite a well-known one. It was to do with someone thinking their fish had hole in my head because they noticed little tiny pinpricks on the head. I just happen to have an extremely good photograph on the website showing these little holes and reassuring people that nothing is wrong. I went back to the same forum today and they have deleted my link. Can't think why that was.
