I've just had a chuckle whilst watching the local news down here in the South West of the UK. A company has actually started manufacturing edible Christmas cards. Everything is edible, paper and ink. What a ridiculous idea, would you want to eat something after someone else's germ ridden hands have been all over it? Me neither

yes, I didn't think of that, they didn't say whether the envelope was edible or not. I can't imagine that is, anyone eating it would probably end up in hospital with some horrible illness.

People like to display their Christmas cards, what are they going to do, display the edible Christmas card in the open air for a couple of weeks and then scoff them all? Like I said, this is a nation keyless idea I have ever heard off, and I cannot believe that it made the news. The only good thing about it is they are biodegradable.

I suppose kids would probably enjoy eating them, however I wouldn't let my kids eat something that is probably covered in germs

Once again, a completely ridiculous waste of time

I wonder if they come with a prescription of antibiotics just in case?

Eat one of our cards today and spend the rest of Christmas with sickness and diarrhoea:laugh:

wouldn't it be spoiled
before reaching the recipient? or how about the
postman who got hungry while stranded in the traffic?
i believe that is an idea of a mindless person.

I think it's a case of somebody who thinks they had found something that is going to make them a millionaire through the computer. In fact, I will be very surprised if anyone bothers buying their products. I would actually be embarrassed to send it to someone. If you send something that's edible, you are expecting them to eat it. What's the point of buying it if that's not going to be your main objective? No, pure madness. You'll probably find that the news had to fill in a gap and that's all they could find.
