Tonight we are having a roast chicken dinner, roast potatoes, vegetables and of course gravy, a roast dinner isn't complete without gravy

Hey Paul, do all children learn English at school in the Philippines? The reason I ask is because as you are aware I have been in hospital quite a few times in the last six months, anyway most of the nurses there are now from the Philippines, and also India, they speak just as good English as me.

ha ha ha. english is our second language... aside from filipino language and 37 regional dialects.

we Filipinos, sometime could not understand regional dialects but could easily
communicate each other in english. even those who are not properly educated could fluently talk in english. we also have some place where people use spanish and portuguese langauge. we are multi cultural and multi lingual.

Filipino nurses, i can assure you, you are in good hands. they are true to their profession and caring is one of our traits.........

nah.... i am old already and need to be careful. though i do not have
any problem yet and could race with my younger staff going 30th floor
stairways upward... i do not fancy to exotic food anymore. good health
and regular body maintenance keep me in good form.

what exotic food are you eyeing for?
sea foods and lobster? they are just normal for us.
beef bat & balls soup (#5) during weekends
fried crickets (specialty in Pampnga)
fried locusts (specialty in Antique)
fried beetles (specialty in Tarlac)

i am not kidding, those items are really regional delicacies
in my place including a white worms inside dead mangrove woods
in palawan.
