bloody computers, I could quite happily chuck them out the window sometimes.

Here is my problem, if anyone has any ideas how to fix it, I'll be very grateful.

I have got two browsers installed on my computer, Firefox and Internet Explorer 7. When I tried to go on the computer yesterday using Firefox, I got a box coming up with the heading, mozilla crash reporter. when I open up a website in IE7, the website opens up momentarily, and then closes automatically after about 5 seconds.

Any advice whatsoever would be good.

I had a virus do that. The page would open for just a sec and then close. The more times I tried it the worse it got. Eventually the computer crashed all together and I lost everything. I would run a serious virus scan if I were you. I hope thats not your problem.

I actually scanned my computer yesterday with McAfee, took nearly 4 hours. It found a few Trojans but nothing that cured the problem. I might do it again and see if it finds anything, I doubt it very much though.

it also happen to us here in the philippines....
i will ask my daughter how did she fixed it....
we have 5 computers at home (one each) and three
shows same problem.... she fixed them.

i will give her a call.
