Damn, and I thought I was going to see some quality pics in this thread. :P

Well my stock has been reduced, so that I can ease up on the water changes. Now I'm concentrating on SA fish. So what I have left in the 240 is a 6" male GT, 10" wild colombian oscar (possibly male), and a 11" female atabapo 1 pike. The GT is taking some beating from the oscar, and I think the female pike is somewhat paired with the oscar, which makes me think the O is a male. In the 55g, I have the same 7" female festae, and a ~3.5" Myersi (separated by Hamburg Matten filter so they don't see each other). I'm looking to re-introduce the festae to the 240g with the myersi this spring. The Myersi was about the size of a thumbnail when I got it in late April.

I was lucky the atabapo pike was chill and taking pellets after 1 month. I had a female johanna pike prior, and she was a mean cuss. After 4 months of not taking soft pellets, and wreaking havok in the 8 footer, she had to go.

Here is the female johanna at 6" last December 2013.

Here in May of 2014 at 7-8", notice the battle scars from fighting festae, oscar, atabapo I pike (she is no longer with me)

I'll post recent pics later on today

Mick was rehomed. He was pretty mellow for a jag, which meant all the fish only had 4 foot swimming space in an 8 foot tank, no one got attacked as long as they kept on their side. I pretty much got tired of being unable to wipe the brown algae off, and having to wear band aids all the time after cleaning the tank.

Mick before being rehomed.

Some seriously nice fish Rock. Great to see them.

Go do a water change - the solution to pollution is dilution.
