Has anyone seen this yet and if so what did you think of it?

I loved the first two films but was not so keen on the third. I'm toying with going to see it at the pictures but as I recently went to see the new Star Trek film (well worth it), I'm not sure whether I should raid the piggy bank again to see this one, I saw the last Terminator film at the pictures but didn't feel it was particularly worth the effort.

I quite like the look of this film as well. I have got the box set already. Obviously the first one was the best, second one was also good, didn't enjoy the last one as much, although Schwarzenegger was in good shape, I think he was too old to play the part.

I think I will end up waiting until it comes out on DVD. I've got a 46 inch television with a really fantastic surroundsound.

We went and saw it in the theater. My hubby is a big fan of the series (esp. tv sarah conner chronicles) I thought it waws going to SUCK because I do NOT like Christian Bale and we didn't think he was the right actor. I was surprised though, I actually really enjoyed it, a few things were a bit too hokey but overall was agood action flick, cool special effects. I reallly liked the character of the human/terminator (can't remeber his name...?). I didn't care for the ending but, that's just me...

I really enjoyed this one Being a sci-fi fan, i thought it was absoulutely terrific! Better than star treck (though that was extremely good as well). There was one cheesy love scene and the ending was kind of lame, but other than that I was very impressed!

i haven't seen star trek but my hubby said he was dissapointed with it. He said it just wasn't what he was thinking it was going to be, great FX and all but he said it was more geared to someone who didn't follow the franchise.

hmm i'm not sure about that... i've watched all of the various start treck series and this one did ressurect all of the characters, new and old, many classic scenes and what not. however, it's easy to follow if you aren't a "treckie" so both hardcore fans and n00bs a like will enjoy

OK, I think I'll go and see it if I get the time to think about it but not worry if I don't - OFL and his amazing TV set up are only in the next county after all

One thing I've always wondered about those big TVs is although they must be great for films and Dr Who etc, doesn't it make ordinary TV like the news a bit scary?
