Anybody watch Survivorman on the Discovery Channel?

This guy makes Ray Mears look like a real wimp. This guy takes his own cameras and no one else. Ray Mears takes a whole bloody camera crew with him:lol:

Very good show, I watch them all.

Did you hear about "Man vs. Wild"? Bear Grylls was caught sleeping in hotels and filming 100s of feet from highways.

When Les Stroud (Survivorman) films a scene where he walks away from the camera and off into the desert sunset, you know he had to set up his own camera and film the scene. Then he had to walk all the way back and get his camera. He basically has to do things twice so we get to see them.

Bear Grylls he is a joke. You see him puffing and panting as he is crawling through snow, or trying to keep his head above water swimming through a canyon. I reckon the cameraman's got more go in him than old Bear:lol: these programmes always make me laugh, these people are supposed to be dying of thirst and hunger but they've got about six people standing next to them with cameras and sound equipment, and no doubt lots of water and food as well. If you're going to do a proper survival programme that holds any credibility, you've got to do it on your own.

Back to Bear Grylls, he has decided to do his programme differently and go out to shock people. Come on, drinking fluid out of an elephant turd, eating eyes out of rotten sheep. For crying out loud, he's not really going to die in this programme, he doesn't need to do this, nobody really wants to see him doing it. He's just showing off.

ive always thought that about those "survival" programmes! its not like the camera crew is going to let him starve is it!? and most of the time theyve got equipment with them that they wouldnt of had if they were really lost!!!

that survivorman sounds more like it whens it on?

thats me gripe over with for today!!!

What makes me laugh is every time I watch Ray Mears, he always looks like he needs to go on a diet. He certainly didn't get a physique like that by just eating berries and stuff that he has found growing in a pond:lol:
