I take it you are trying to get your site published in the top of the more popular search engines. I used the word published because it's been a while for me a forget the proper term.

I have a friend that had a great little program to get your sites on the search engines. He works on a towboat, he runs an FTP but it shuts it down when is is away for a while, will check for you, that is if you don't already have something you prefer
