Hi,

I've just done a water changeand noticed my red oscar has some kind of spot on his lower lip. The water parameters are very good and otherwise the fish seems happy.

I was wondering if this was a common thing or not?

Does it look like the Oscar at the top of the page? If it does, that is completely normal. Happens to some Oscars and not other. No idea why!!! Anyway, if it doesn't look like the one at the top of the page, then I would need a pic to help!

Do you know, I must see that piture every time i visit OFL and I've never noticed that before! I think ladies must be more observant. My oscar has the same looking spot in exactly the same place!! Thanks a lot I feel reassured now.

this is common, it is called "Banner blindness" and is why some advertisers think that placing adverts at the very top of the web page is useless as people don't take any notice of them.

theres a banner at the top of the page.....
