TOPIC: ok its turkey time

ok its turkey time 2 years, 6 months ago #61493

So the day draws near where we all put on elastic waist band pants, and do our holiday gorge on great food and time with the fam so here is the question for you.........(granted i know not all people celebrate thanksgiving)

What is the one memory smell that says yes its thanksgiving day.
What are your plans for the holiday staying close to home seeing fam still or chillen at home or better yet they are coming to your house lol.

for me im bringing dozer for his first meet to mom's house lol i think she thinks i have a small dog. and we are doing our tradtional thanksgiving with her friend and her husband and my bro his gf will be there. I would have to be the smell of sweet potatoes cooking with turkey and stuffing that right there is my smell momory lol.
I have lost my mind be back when I find it, maybe.

thanksgiving is celebrating when the native americans showed the pilgrims how to put dead fish on their corn to help it grow.
at least thats the picture that comes to mind from all of the textbooks in grade school.
my girlfriend's parents and her nephew are coming over to our little house to celebrate the holiday. i think that her dad is going to fry a turkey! I love fried turkey! what i love even more is stuffing. i could have just a plate full of stuffing and be happy.
maybe the best part of thanksgiving are the leftovers, turkey and stuffing sandwiches with miracle whip for like the next three days
Please, for my sake, change your oil!

well, for me and my family, any opportunity is a thanks giving day. whenever
we have free time, go to church,..then hang around, bonding together,
and enjoy the day. Those among us who live in the city got to visit the old folks
in the countryside once in a while, and have festive move for a day or two, used
to play poker against each other... and the winner shouldered all the expenses...

my children loves to make gimmick.... even a simple birthday is a thanks giving day
for us. we see to it that we gather together and enjoy the day.....

Different countries, different cultures all have their own holidays and celebrations.
