Let me start half by saying that I totally respect all religions and the people who practice them. However, I am getting sick and tired of Muslims calling for people to be executed, normally by being beheaded. One very good example is the British schoolteacher who has been imprisoned for 15 days in the Sudan. This was a genuine mistake, she named a teddy bear Mohammed. Okay, maybe she should have thought a little but more about it before doing it but come on, everything has been blown out of proportion and they are now calling for her to be executed. This is absolutely ludicrous. Can you imagine what would happen if we executed every person who made a joke about God or Jesus? There wouldn't be any comedians left for a start. In my opinion, religion has a lot to answer for when it comes to world peace and everybody living in harmony.

I agree with OFL, these muslims are very extreme. However christianity used to be the same with some of the things they used to do. I think religion has the been the cause of many wars and lots of suffering. Its the top people who interpret things that cause the problems not necessary the religion

As far as the school teacher i agree the punishment is just ludicrous, on the other hand it is their country and when in rome etc

Watching the news tonight it seems that it's a bit of a ploy by Sudan to make a big thing out of it. All to do with what's going on in Darfur. The Sudanese government are being criticised for not stopping what's going on and it's believed that this is why this has been blown out of all proportion.

What made me laugh if they had around 1000 protesters calling for their execution. Apparently, most of the people didn't really know what they were there for. They had been recruited by these extreme Muslim clerics.

Remember those protests in London a few months ago. Lots of Muslims walking around with placards calling for people to be beheaded if they insulted Islam. I can't understand why they are allowed to do it. If that had been a load of Liverpudlians walking around with placards calling for all Londoners to be shot, you know what would have happened, they would have been rounded up and dealt with harshly.

Having found out some more i take back what i said about when in rome etc. It turns out she allowed some kids to decide what to call the bear. I feel that by any standards she did nothing wrong. The lesson here is avoid these dodgy countries like the plague

As for what we allow to happen in this country i think we let some groups get away with too much. If it was christians calling for someones death the march would be stopped
