Ok I'm cheap, but I can't handle this 56k connection any longer. I've been looking at the high speed options in my area and there are three that I am interested in. I just can't seem to decide between them. Mainly because I don't know how to adequately judge between the pros and cons. I'll just list them off here and see what all you guys think.

Broadband Access of course works wherever you go but I don't currently have a laptop. I really don't know how to compare the Uploading vs. Downloading speeds either. Any Input from you guys would be great. I'd like to make this decision in the next next or so.

I'm on cable here and loving it. It is way cheaper here though than what you say, and a combination of digital tv/phone flat/internet. And modem is for free with a 1 yr contract. I have a cable contract for analog tv anyway though, so the rest is additionally.

Before, I had DSL and that was quite reliable as well. 1.4Mbps is just too slow

Personally I'd go for the DSL out of your choices ... not much slower in download than cable, faster in upload, and way cheaper.
