I was just wondering how many of you believe in ghosts? Human/ Animal spirits wandering among us.
This afternoon, I was busy cleaning out a freezer, thinking about the impending move... I walked into my bedroom, to put a sweatshirt away, and the image pasted here is what i found.
I have been alone in the house for 4 hours. now i had been in the bedroom and hour before this discovery. And it was NOT there... Wrinkled blankets make me crazy. so I know it wasn't there...
Against my hand, this print is twice the size. Kinda cool...
Tell me your stories... I have several more.

I believe man is a spirit in a body, with a soul.
So, yes, i do believe in spirits or ghosts.
It would be pretty strange for Christian, not to believe in spirits and ghosts.
But i got no spooky storys for you, no hauntings whatsoever in my home.

Rather like UFOs, nobody has ever managed to get a really good photo of a ghost whether it be on video or camera. All the so-called photos are very grainy, blurred and quite frankly, crap. Now if ghosts really do show themselves to us occasionally, I would have thought one would have been captured on film by now, just like UFOs.
So do ghosts really exists, do I believe in an afterlife? I would like to think that when we die, that's not the end of it. However I have had various near death experiences myself, in fact last year I had to be resuscitated four times and I can't honestly say I looked down on myself from the ceiling,or started my trip down the long tunnel towards a bright light. I did however have some very strange dreams that were very very lifelike and even when I came out of my coma really thought these things had happened
We will all find out one day whether ghosts really do exist. The only spirits in my house are the ones that are inside a bottle.

same here although i got a a story
i vacatoning in virginia beach with my family in a nice big house right on the water. i went to explore the house and i found the basement was very cdold and dark, although i thought it must have good airconditioning because the rest of the house was pretty warm. Anyway i slept down there on the thirdnight and was having a hard time sleeping. i got up to go to the bathrrom(there was a pretty gross run down bathroom downstairs near were i was sleeping) and i felt the entire wall for a light switch but there was none. i figured it must be just too dark to see were it is i went to the bathrroom and washeed my hands, i looked up into the dirty mirror and saw a man much larger than mee behind my self reaching out at me so i turned around and swung my fist to were his head should be (thinking myabe someone broke into the house) but there was nothing there so i looked into the mirror again and he was there so i ran out of the bathroom and jumped onto the bed. im havin a f----n heart attack everything around me looked like it was spinning. i might have emagined it but it looked like i saw a shadow comin through the door so i ran my ass up the stairs.

When I was a kid the other kids used to ask if I would walk through the grave yard. yep i would and get in a open hole. never bothered me. I have never been worried about dieing I worry more for the people I leave behind.
there is always a reason how it happened. your husbands hand most likely. try the fit. if it don't fit you better have a good excuse. ((

on time at my work i was refurbing a castle im a joiner, and me and the guy i was working with was ripping a sheet, when we had finished i heard a funny noise i looked down and there was a battery spining on its axis faster and truer than a battery could spin, we looked at each other, i put my foot on the battery and stopped it and that was that, but mine and his face was a picture! ive had another few funny things happen there and heard a few more
but to be honest i dont beleive in any of it and think all that stuff has a reason, put it this way i dont think anything like that exists

I've got a touch of the 6th sense. I'm no Haley Joel Osment or Jennifer Love Hewitt, but I know when there is a "spirit" or "presence" near. My Great Grandfather used to visit me after his death. I knew it was him because I'd suddenly smell Old Spice and he'd pet my hair. He hasn't been around for a while though. I think he's been with my Great Grandmother waiting for her. She turned 100 on 09/09/09. She's led quite the charmed life.
My house is haunted as well. The man who haunts it is Cecil Green. He used to own this house in the 50s through 80s and did some pretty major remodeling. He built the basement, remodeled the kitchen, added the bathroom, plus a whole bunch of other things. (My house is almost 100 years old, and it was just a poor fisherman's cottage, so it wasn't real pretty.) He was killed by a log truck while trying to pull out onto the highway.
Cecil's a prankster. He likes to turn on Greg's electric razor, he turns on the microwave, he slams cupboard doors, and slams kitchen drawers while you're in the shower. He'll follow you up the basement stairs, and he'll play with the electricity. (And before the naysayers blame it on old faulty wiring - knob and tube is by far more safe and more efficient than the new Romex shit they put in, AND he's played with the lights that have been redone as well. So it's not just the old crappy wiring.) He comes and he goes too. He'll leave for certain seasons. He's usually not around during the summer months, but he shows up again just after school starts, like around October and he'll stay until after the New Year. When I was pregnant with Isaac, he stuck around for my pregnancy, and didn't leave until Isaac was about 8 or 9 months old.
My husband has seen him, I've heard him speak, I've seen him turn the basement door handle, and if I ask him to stop playing with the lights, he will. Skeptics can always pass things off as either we're (people who believe) are delusional, or all the phenomenon can be explained by barometric pressure, electromagnetic fields, and just everyday coincidence. Come spend a night in my house and then tell me if you don't believe in the morning. Cecil likes to mess with people who don't believe and the people who are afraid of him.
For instance, he LOVES to F with my mother in-law. She's petrified of him, so he pulls her sheets off, turns off her electric blankets, moves her things around, and is just an all around jackass to her when she's here. Not that I'm complaining....the woman is evil incarnate anyway and if he wants to help get her to leave earlier - I'm all for it.
That's just a fraction of what I've seen and experienced in my life to make me a believer. I think we're all just energy that inhabits these bodies for a time. Once your shell dies, your energy lives on. I dunno if you get to choose what happens to you, ie: reincarnation, "heaven", or sticking around here screwing around with the living. But I think there are spirits stuck here on our plane. Whether it's by choice or not I have no idea. But I suppose we ALL get to find out one day.

I'd have to say I do believe there are spirits, ghosts, energy, or whatever one wants to call it among us. Not that i've ever woken up with someone standing there next to me but i've had things happen to me or around me that makes me believe there is something there.
Same with UFOs or ET's...maybe there aren't UFOs and little aliens like what we see in the movies and stuff...but I think this universe is far too expansive and diverse to think that we are the only life in it. There are parts of Earth we haven't even explored yet and we are still finding new types of life and organisms on our own planet...how can we be sure there isn't other life out there or among us?
