so lastnight we got record snow. almost 13" fell on dallas, a slight bit less here, but needless to say we didnt make it out today. power was out since 3am, kept the fish tank heaters and pumps going thanks to my trusty generator. between teh generator and the fireplace i should manage. more coming sunday. here it is almost 5pm and they finally got my lights back on. so this never happens in east texas. i wrecked my truck twice today. in my driveway. lol.

Dang! We didn't get ANY snow this year. Last year we got a whole 9-12", which is a freak snow storm for us. I love the snow, and my Jeep handles it like a champ; so I WANTED snow again this year. *sigh* Oh well, guess I better move more inland if I want snow.

Finally you get your share!
I still see this looking out my frontwindow.

We haven't had this many snow and for such a long time!
Best thing is that springtime will be here soon.
In 2 months I'll be catching carp and staying outdoors allready.
Can't wait!

well 1 pang died. down to 3 now. it just got too cold for it. generator ran out of gas in the night, nobody filled it up, i was asleep, i woke up the tank was 64 degrees and 1 pang dead and the others almost. the rest of the tanks were fine, surpringly my puffers lived thru it too.

sorry for the loss Win...

that only shows how durable the puffers are... we used to catch puffer in the
open sea, and brought it home alive in a bucket with salt water.... they can
survive two days in the bucket......

premitive belief is that a lactating mother who takes puffer soup will have
plenty of breast milk for the new born baby...

sorry about the fish.
Any change for the better with the cold?
Here it's still snowing, but powerfailures are hardly ever a problem.
guess were lucky, but I'm still considering to get a small generator
