I thought it would be a good idea to try and find out how many active members we have. although we've got over 10,000 members, not all of them are Active. Just make a note of the people you see and hopefully we can come up with a figure

We have over 10,000 members? The forum fact thing says we have only 1,063.

Hm, is there no such stats thingy that would show the members and the actual posts they made? I know there's a stat for the 5 ppl with the most posts, but thought the admin has further insight

I could probably come up with 20+ more user names but will try another day when I can think better

Oh, Kenshin_Himura has to be one of those with the longest posts and pooky with the funniest ones

I am not sure if I made myself clear. It would be nice to know how many of our members come on here on a regular basis. I have got statistics program that tells me all sorts of things, unfortunately, it doesn't tell me how many active members we have. I think we have got quite a few which is great

i personally think the only way we will know exactly is if sum piece of software could record who logs into site and how often.

I visit the site daily but do not always sign in or post. As long as I own Oscars I will be visiting the site. I hopefully will be getting some pictures up soon of my tank and fish.

If we see your name, then we will count you as active, after all, this is a website and forum, not just a forum. The forum came after the website, it was really only meant to be a backup in case somebody couldn't find the answers on the actual website.

I had just been trying to make a list but it feels strange to me, realizing how there are so many reasons why I might remember certain persons or forget others, so I'm with vbaby on that one.
Or, everyone who considers him-/herself a regular poster or at least logs in often (I take it that's what was meant) could just yell "here" in this thread.

Fare enough as OFL said anyone who has a bit of a read every couple of days could be considered as active.
