...unfortunately it seems as if they didn't read my post about sudden intense red coloration in Oscars. Immediate red coloration usually means the Oscar has finally completed development of full outer layer of protein polysaccharides, and thus is able to both shed its cells and replace them with polarized silicon. As a result, the Oscar is able to maintain his hydration both in and out of water. Asphyxiation will be impossible and the predatory fish will be able to move effortlessly between both environments. Sadly, I assume a concerned neighbor will eventually find our members within a week or two....Signs of a prolonged struggle, obviously, most likely picked clean to the bone. No signs of the Oscars.

What are the acceptable casualty rates around here due to Oscar predation anyways? Is this normal? These human losses, while regrettable, are certainly avoidable...and can be addressed with more thorough research.

iv noticed alot of ppl have stopped posting in the couple of months i was away, ppl who were really active before and some of them mods was abit random

i know Sins have some family concern while adrian is about to graduate
from his schooling.... perhaps others are just busy for the vacation time

Strange how you get used to the company of the members over here.

people go through phases in their internet activity, one week this website is the flavour of the month, the next week its the next new thing..

its nothing sinister, its just how people are (well some people)... I tend to check this site throughout the day as its usually open either at work or at home.. but thats coz its still new.. I used to be on facebook all the time but I'm not any more...

this of course could just be the way I do things though lol...

yeah thats tru, not just oscars but all fish, not just fish but all topics! lol

We don't want to talk shop 100% of the time, it's nice to just chew the fat about anything that takes our fancy sometimes. It would be a little bit dull if we didn't allow people to talk about anything other than fish
