I am going to start an online Aquatics store at some stage. I would like to get an idea of the things you would consider buying online. Do you look for bargains? Maybe your local Aquatics store doesn't stock some of the products that you require. Anyway, give me a few ideas of the things you would like to see in an online store

The difficulty you are going to have is that some companies heavily discount to volume sellers. Fluval is an example. To do with work i use a pet food wholesaler that is mainly an aquatic wholesaler which is great for me as i get all my stuff cheap. Fluval stuff from the wholesaler is about the same price as in maidenhead aquatics (a large chain in the uk). So you will find some products you will be able to sell cheaper than stores but some you will be more expensive on, and lets face the only reason to buy online and not in a store is price as the service you get in stores is loads better

This is why I need to talk to the wholesalers and see what they would give it to me for. Interesting, will have to see what happens.

id possibly oder the big stuff like the large ehim heaters, large driftwood and possibly test kits as here in nz the fish shops dont really cater for the guys with big tanks and their test kits are very limited and expensive.

Wouldn't help me much being over here in the US but I know of a lot of people who are always looking for Aquarium paint or at least fish safe epoxy as well as other do it yourself stuff. Other than that I would guess most people are looking for bargains.
