other than my oscars i also have a cat which iv had nearly 5 years, 2 cockatials named spike and sparky and a 2 year old dogue de bordeuax which i love loadz

I have got a cat called Charlie that he actually lived with my parents now. Other than that, it's only fish and I want it to stay like that. I was toying with the idea of getting a parrot but the thought of it crapping everywhere and maybe making so much noise that I would end up wringing it's neck put me off the idea.

I have a dog,two cats with kittys due feb 14th, two budgies a parrot and of course my oscars:)

What sort of parrot have you got? I was thinking about getting one but I'm a little worried about the noise they might make and also if they might take a dislike to someone. Some years ago, I went into a pet shop and there was this great white cockatoo sitting on a perch. What the perch was doing out of his fish tank, I know not only joking, just had to get that one in. Anyway, back to the story. I had a pair of gloves on at the time I made the mistake of trying to touch it. This cockatoo grabbed hold of my thumb and bit right through my thumbnail. I've never been in so much pain in all my life, apart from my kidney stones.

Bobby is a rosella from south east Australia, she is a quiet bird and they are not very expensive, if you want to own a parrot though you do become their mates and it is a very close relationship:)

Your parrot has got beautiful colours. I did a little bit of reading up and I know what you mean about them becoming very close to their owner. It also said that they require a lot of attention which is understandable. I don't know, I have a think about it. Problem is, what if you want to go away on holiday somewhere. Fish aren't too bad, it's easy to get someone to come in and just put some food in, I think a parrot might be a little more difficult especially if it doesn't get on with a person who was looking after it. You would also want someone who is responsible.

I have a cat also which is pregnant and a dog which is just fat. my cat is a ginger and she got attitude.

my ten year old son also has a snake just a little corn snake of course hes to young for some of the other ones dont like them myself but each to his own

Heh, I'd love to get a giant burmese python or something, but at the moment don't have the money, I'm reverting all that to building a giant aquarium.
