wicked looking rough haired you got there i love it!!!!!!!! i have owned 14 terriers and 4 lurchers all at one time the terriers were russels, lakelands,borders, and patterdales........and the lurchers were... collie x whippet x greyhound=lurcher .........i love your jack ..do you know the measurements that are regarded as the perfect terrier?????????

i meant the ultimate dog for the purpose terriers were intended....13"x13"x13"
13" tall to the top of the front shoulder/backbone ,(measure up the front leg)..
13" long from the chest at the throat to the rear ,(not including the tail)
13" around the chest just behind the front legs ,(as you measure your chest)

a terrier of these dimentions are regarded by "working dog " keepers as "perfect" the long legged version is known in the uk as the "parsons" jack

just got my new puppy today....I wanted to name her bella...because i like the name bella. and bella was the name of the only dog bruno ever bread with, so i thought in like rememberance of him it would be could. but my mom wanted sadie
