Any one want to get the net from the bottom of Burt's pond?

He has claimed it as his, I am inclined to let him have it..nets are cheap.

Nope, I'm down to just one herp now, Tiny (my smaller male iguana). Need to find some pictures of him. I think they are all on my wife's laptop.

Never been to a repticon show. Sound interesting. For that matter, I've never been to an aquarium/fish show. Need to try to do that this year. Know any good ones in the southeast US?

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, it hurts to lose a pet. Condolences on the loss of your dog...

Pardon my ignorance, but what kind of fish is Burt? He sure does look intimidating.

That is a 14" half grown Dovii. He lives in the pond. He abused his first girl so going to try again.

That was my first experience with anything like that. My wife wanted a gf for her sand boa from a particular breeder. It was a small show in Gulf Breeze, Fl., but they had some really nice stuff. If I hear of any aquatic shows I will def let you know, but so far I have not found anything like that in the SE.

Man he was really cool bro! I used to be big into reptiles! Had a variety of snakes and lizards and such. Really was into the big monitor lizards. Had a Burundi Nile Monitor and Water monitor and both were huge and mean as hell! Powerful beasts to boot. Had an Iguana for a bit but at the time I wasn't able to keep it. Anyways thanks for sharing man

Reptiles do have great personalities, I used to have two beardies and I absolutely loved them, I unfortunately had to re home them :( you do get so attached to them! I'm sorry for your loss!

I think Burt gets the net as a prize. I could probably handle him at the end of my Ugly Stick with some 20lb mono, but what a bad ass fish
