Here's the pics. I'm going to go look at it Wednesday. He's going to email me the dimensions tomorrow morning to let me know for sure if it is even a 300.

i believe you made a wrong post.... when it comes to a bigger tank
no body in the community will say NO!.... grab it before somebody else
got it....

my only concern is the foot print.... it seem to be ackward.
i will reserve my comment once the dimension is known.

So, I'm considering 2 options. If it's a true 300 gallon tank and it was drilled properly, I will get it and sell off the 55 gallon and the 90 gallon leaving the 300 and 125. I already have a girl interested in the 55. So, I will be going to look at the 300 on Wednesday. Stay tuned for updates.

Ok, I just got the dimensions of the tank. He says that it is 10 ft long x 24 in d x 25.5 in tall. According to my calculations that would make it 311 gallons. I'm sure these are outside dimensions. He did tell me that it was professionally drilled. I am making arrangements to go and look at it tonight and possibly leave a deposit until I'm able to come and pick it up. Wish me luck.

Careful with this way of thinking because it can get you in trouble. I bought a 140 gallon thinking I would sell my 55 gallon and 30 gallon keeping my 60gallon, only to find afterward that I haven't got a reasonable offer and now I still have the 2 extra tanks. Then the real trouble begins, you start finding reasons to set back up the tanks(or the reasons find you) . I have already set back up my 30 gallon, and am not going to set up the 55 gallon, but everytime I go in my garage and see the 55 gallon tank...it gets tougher and tougher.

So you may want to have confirmed offers before you give in to your impulse.

Very good article Noddy. Not too concerned with the move. I have a sliding glass door on the main level of my apartment going into the room where the tank would more than likely go. Something like this I would consider using some type of rolling furniture dolly or something like that. My 125, I stood it up on its end and walked it on the 2 corners across the lawn. It is a lot to think about though. Don't worry. I overplan everything.
