hey guys, i recently purchased 1 baby tiger oscar, 1 baby albino tiger oscar, 1 baby green terror, and 1 baby jack dempsey. I would like to know if they can be tank mates, the smallest size of aquarium i can keep them in when full grown and any other tips on keeping them. Thanks!!

Welcome to the community. First of all, you should be looking at around a minimum of 55 UK gallons for each of the Oscars and the Green Terror, the Jack Dempsey requires about 40 UK gallons to itself. So you can do the maths. Having said this, I'm not sure I would put a green tower in with these fish, I've never had one, but they can be a little bit aggressive if you are not careful.

the green terror seems to be bullied by my other fish instead of the other way around? will this change as they get bigger?

imho you might be able to get away with your stock list provided the jack and the terror are not overly aggressive. unfortunetly only time will tell how they behave when mature.

as for tank size i think you should be fine with all of those fish if you house them in a 180 gallon tank.....

You can't really say for sure, there are of course general guidelines about compatibility, and some fish will change their behavior to a degree as they mature, but it still comes down to the individual fish and the situation. From what I understand green terrors tend to be more docile as youngsters and get more aggressive as they mature, which might help, although again its specific to your individual fish. Sorry if this isn't too helpful.

Bear in mind tank size can play a role in aggression and bullying behaviors, what are they currently housed in? I would say at the very, very least you would need 120 gallons, preferably more.

Other than that adding a divider or purchasing some dither fish are really all i can think of if its really worrying you, but again that depends on tank size.

JD's can be aggressive so you may have trouble with it. The GT will be aggressive when its gets bigger and will batter your oscars
