TOPIC: Oscars + tiger barbs?

My oscar tank is cycled using 2 tiger barbs, media tranfers, and some gravel. My question is, Can I leave them in the tank? (possible meals later ) or do you think the barbs would be too nippy?

Given half a chance, the Oscars will eat the Tiger barbs when they are able to. When I first started keeping Oscars, I bought six Tiger barbs and by the time the Oscars were 7 inches long, they had gone through the whole lot. Tiger barbs and Oscars are not a good mix.

He's around 2". i caught one of them. I finally got a good look of the other and he is missing an eye.

I got him in the tank, and five minutes later, he was out of the flowerpot moving around the tank. Checking things out.He slept for a few minutes, now he's investigating. I don't know if they have seen each other or not.
