does anyone use this stuff? if so, is it anygood? im tempted to change from sand to pea gravel, it looks so natural.
but im worried my clown loaches and phantom pleco will have trouble eating off the bottom of the tank.
here is what im talking about...

hi butty ,,i have used it for years and realy like it ......the plec will be fine eating off the stuff but it will harbour the crap a massive ammount compared to sand ..i have not put a vac on my sand since i introduced the pair of syno,s and theres not even a spec of food on there!!!!!!!!!!but the pea gravel gets awfuly dirty almost to the point of you being unable to fully clean it......

thats what i was worried about, what are syno,s?

i have same size of pebbles in my tank. but i introduce fine
sand to make them compact under, thus, dirt doest stays that
much in the bottom. (mixture of 1:1 ratio)
