I wanted to buy a 100+ Gallon aquarium, black seals would be preferred. I want to buy a new tank that will hopefully last me years to come.
And in your opinions, which do you believe is better, Glass or Acrylic and why?

If price isnt an issue, acrylic because two people can easily carry a 8 foot 1/2 " thick acrylic 240g tank.

For glass tanks I highly recommend Marineland. Black seals for your liking, high quality construction and best of all a lifetime warranty to the original owner. If you happen to be in Canada, hit the nearest BigAls, pricing is great. A 5ft 120g out the door for less than $300. 6ft 125 about 50 more. Their biggest is a 7ft 265g. $1400. Beware, it weighs 400lbs dry!

I was looking more into Acrylic tanks, but how would I fit filtration on the back with the Euro bracing?

And what do you think of this tank?

Was looking at 125 Gallons, but this is 180 and only $40 more...

acrylics have cut outs to allow for canister filters and heaters, unless you get one with overflows, then the only cut outs are on the overflows and tops

Acrylic is great if weight is a concern, but IME acrylic scratches if you breath on it, & over time, the acrylic may become opaque.

THOSE WHO REFUSE KNOWLEDGE ARE DOOMED TO FAIL.

WATER CHANGES ARE THE LIFEBLOOD OF THIS HOBBY. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE SO OR SIMPLY DON'T FEEL LIKE DOING THEM, RE-HOME YOUR FISH, SELL YOUR AQUARIUM & FIND ANOTHER HOBBY, AS YOU WILL FAIL UTTERLY, COMPLETELY, & MISERABLY.

If I were to buy an acrylic tank used is there anything I should look out for or certain questions I should ask? And can an acrylic saltwater tank be converted to a freshwater tank? and how would I do it?

I bought a used 90g glass a while back that was a former salty. It took some HEAVY scrubbing and scraping with a utility knife blade to get clean. The acrylic may be tougher to clean, and may scratch in the process. You can buff scratches out of acrylic, but you need to have some knowledge on the how-to of that. Unless weight is a major concern, and it shouldnt be unless you are looking for a many hundred gal tank, I would go with glass.
