Thank you everyone which helped in my previous article. I have determined that an oscar is probably not my best option as it will outgrow my tank. I am curious about whether a blue cobalt zebra cichlid would be appropriate for my tank (as I really want a cichlid)

It is a 240 litre tank (around 63 us gallons)

Bearing in mind I plan to have some rocky outcrop props and hiding spots as it is an african fish.

Will be fine, but how did you go from American cichlid to African? lol.

I have a pair of Jack Dempsey, they are pretty cool and good for a tank of that size. Mine is 260 litres 48x16x21 inches so if you have similar diameters then might be worth considering
