Very nice, Dave. Glad the move went well.

I concur with Darth. We need a video of your fish room, with commentary. :)

Thx all.. fishroom is complete. I'm on holidays, but I gotta tell ya, I've busted ass way more during this project than I do at work. Complete video promised when my camera returns from overseas. Couple weeks.

The 265g tank is one of my all time favorites. The odd length (7ft) just gives it a nicer look in my opinion. Another odd size I like and used to have was a 5ft 120g, again something about that odd length just looks better.

Cant wait to see updated pictures of everything.

Thx D.. I love the 265, great community tank, or could hold one biggie. And yep for sure the 5ft 120 is a great single fish tank. I have 2, one with a Midevil and one holds my RedTex. I have them each on the floor with 6 footers above.

I really am. I just like having that thing that is just a little different. In my area there are a lot of large cichlid keepers and it is so common place to see wild caught or F1's of umbee, dovii, red devils, just about any fish in the amp family... in fact I have a friend who raises and breeds a ton of these and Im happy to say he does not have an Oscar or a Pearsei in his mix. In fact in my local fish forum Im like the only one with a Pearsi and one of the few Oscar keepers.

So yep I like the odd-balls! Hey I sent you a friend request... think about it :P

Me too. I have a 5 foot 150 gallon, which is odd.

Anyone remember Odd Rods stickers from the 70s?

I can not confirm or deny if I remember said stickers as it could be used to pinpoint my real age. :P

I got my driver's license in 1977. I had those stickers on my school binders. I also remember slappin one on Dad's full load '75 Gran Prix. Then removing it!

At the risk of a derail......and yes I love the Odd Rods.....my favorite non sports trading cards/stickers from the 1970s were Wacky Packs.

So I don't want to derail Dave's thread. I'll start something in the off topic forums if there is any interest.
